Muslim men celebrates Milad-un-Nabi omitting women from their rally

AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): Milad-un-Nabi or Mawlid was celebrated in Tripura along with the whole nation.
This day is believed to be the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed.
In this regard a colourful rally was organized at Agartala City, where children to grownups all remained present.
However, women were as per expectation missing from the rally.
This occasion is celebrated in most countries with large street processions and decorations of homes or mosques.
Food and other offerings are distributed, and stories about the life of Prophet Muhammad are narrated.
