AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): After getting rid of Executive Member of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Joy Kishore Jamatia from the party, now the CPI-Ms are trying to rebuilt the image of Minister Naresh Jamatia at Bangma contituency and also investigation going on to verify--- is there any damage has done to the party because of Naresh Jamatia or not----as just before few days this was the same Minister who came under allegation of giving red salute to martyr Chiitaranjan Debbarma as well as having links with terrorists. Naresh Jamatia who is holding Forest Dept, rural Dept. both and was massively elected as the winning candidate of Bagma constituency was a very close-mate of Joykishore. Reportedly, Joykishore’s wife many times raised the issue of Joykishore's illegal affair before CPI-M party members, but her complain remained without any action on that time. Naresh and Joykishore’s intimacy had overall seen at Bagma to Killa areas, which are mostly CPI-M occupied zone.

But with the Joykishore's chapter ending a massive jolt has received by the Minister and party is now worried about the probable affects to come in the vote banks of CPI-M during Assembly Election-2018  due to this scandal.

An earthquake like situation arrived in CPI-M Melarmath party office, when various media alleged that Joykishore’s womanizing scandal-----which led the Ministers as Badal Choudhury, Ratan Bhowmik, MLA Madhabh Saha, MLA Parimal Debnath, MLA Priyamoni Debbarma and other political leaders to conduct a meeting at Gomati Jilla and at the end of the meeting receiving proper reaction-report of the people Madhabh Saha announced, “Joykishore is a closed chapter for CPI-M”.

But question remains why always the party ends by suspending a person, leaving no chance for investigation or lodge any police case. Same was done with  Amarpur MLA, when CPI-M state committee expelled its heavy weight leader cum MLA Manoranjan Acharjee for being accused of moral degradation. Also CPI-M state committee forced MLA Manoranjan Acharjee to resign from Assembly seat from immediate effect.

In case of Joykishore Jamtaia the ruling CPI-M in Tripura suspended sitting executive member of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) and senior party member Joy Kishore Jamatia for moral turpitude. The party has also directed him to resign from the council. No formal police complaint has been lodged against Jamatia so far.

According to Jamatia's wife Krishnadevi, Joy Kishore was caught in a compromising position from his neighbour's residence on December one .She also alleged that Joy Kishore on several occasions was cautioned by his family, relatives and neighbours. The matter was also informed to the party leaders. But there was no change in him.

Krishnadevi, accompanied by her neighbours, raided the house on the night of December one and caught him red handed. However, he managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of darkness and still now he is traceless.

Then only CPI-M took action, as same CPI-M did with MLA Manoranjan Acharjee, against whom the party never lodged any complain in police station.

Moreover, when media claimed that Naresh Jamatia has links with terrorists and he is very closed to the surrendered militants, now the party is worried about his image preserving and sources said that CPI-M is also internally investigating public’s reaction about Naresh Jamatia ahead of Assembly Election which will decide the next position given to him by the party.
