TIWN Dec 8, 2016
AGARTALA / KAILASHAHAR, Dec 8 (TIWN): Tittoari Chit fund agency which spread like an umbrella in overall Unakoti Dist. and other parts of Tripura had looted more than 2 crores from the public here.
Surprisingly the company was older than Rose Valley group of company, but due to the negligence of Tripura govt many chit fund groups emerged in Tripura and looted public funds like anything.
Due to the attitude of the govt here, chit fund groups were settling down silently since decades, the result of which yet horrifies poor people as SIT has failed to submit any charge-sheet in High Court against the chit fund companies of Tripura.
However, the mastermind of Tittoari Chit fund group named Dilip Tiwari who was arrested on Wednesday has been produced before the court on Thursday. Police sought 4 days remand of the accused, although the Court’s decision yet to come.
Before 10 years the chit-fund group had begun in Tripura, and in later time, it started a huge business across the state.
Using the poor people Tiwari started to deposit huge amounts in his own accounts, and suddenly he disappeared from Tripura.
After many years police arrested finally him from Agartala Narshingarh home and reportedly he has been produced before the court on Thursday.
It’s worthy to mention here that after the failure of Tripura Police, High Court ordered SIT to submit fresh report on the chit fund scams.
But crossing the last date for submission of chargesheet, SIT has miserably shown its incapability for investigation.
Day by day the data, sources are losing in that case, but Tripura Govt is happy with the slow progress of SIT investigation.
