AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): Dr. Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas 2016 was observed across Tripura on Tuesday.

In this regard Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad paid tribute to the great soul.

At Ujjayanta Palace, SC Welfare Minister Ratan Bhowmik on behalf of Tripura Govt also paid tribute to him.

Babasaheb Ambedkar, principal architect of the Indian Constitution, breathed his last on December 6, 1956. He was born on April 14, 1891 in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
