AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): As announced on Nov 13, Vishwa Hindu Parishad observed Soura Divas in NE State Tripura.

In a press meet led by Baba Garia Mission President Rampada Jamatia (Jamatia Hoda) and Ranjit Bharracharjee VHP President (Tripura), the VHP members delivered their speeches at Agartala BJP office, Krishanagar.

Entrusting full faith on the judicial system, Hindus waited for 60 years from 1950 till 2010. But now the Hindu community wants the temple to be built through an act of Parliament on the lines of Somnath Temple, a VHM member said.

The 6th Dec  was fully dedicated on Hinduism, and against the era of Muslim tyranny on India and in this regard VHM at Agartala also organized blood donation camp and observed the day as ‘Sourya Divas’, remembering the Ram Mandir rescue from Babri Mosque, which was held in 1992. 

Apart from that in a fresh start here it has been announced at Agartala Krishnanagar office that the organization to begin a ‘Hitchintak’ movement in Tripura.

With this movement the membership to be increased with a major target. Presently Tripura has altogether 22,000 members under VHP and the target is to make it with 1 lakh. 

In India 33 lakhs of VHP members are there, whereas the target is 70 lakhs.
