AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): Atlast Tripura Chief Minister accepted that the price of vegetables and other items are more in Tripura in compare to other states of India, as Tripura mostly based on imported items.

Due its bad connectivity the price remains high here, Sarkar said.

However, it’s worthy to mention here that although CM accepted the fact of high price in Tripura but the govt here has no desire to grow domestic products; resulting the whole year’s price hike.

Amidst poor income the price hike has burdened the people here with double expenses.

Sarkar further lectured the central govt to improve country’s agriculture so that people can live happily amidst low income.

With the seasonal change practice of winter vegetable cultivation is on peak across rural Tripura & greenery is overall.

But the high cost of vegetables have hit the market here, but demand for fresh vegetable is high at markets.
