UDAIPUR 12 June (TIWN) : A newly born girl child of merely one day's of her age has been recovered lying by the roadside of NH44 in Peratia-Garji area on Thursday afternoon. The incident took place at around 12 noon on Thursday.
A person namely Balaram Reang, who was going through this area heard the cry of a baby and immediately came closer and was surprised to hear the baby crying. He found that a girl child was crying. At once Balaram informed the Child Help Line and a team of Child Help Line went to the spot. Accordingly the team recovered the baby and took it to the Radhakishorepur Police Station. There the team registered a General Diary( GD Entry no-35/2014) to fulfill the official formalities.
At 1.10pm the girl child was brought to the Tripura Sundari Hospital of Udaipur for medical examination. After the medical varification the girl child has been handed over to the authorities of Sishu Griha. Sishu Griha is an NGO looking after those neglected children rescued by the administration.
