KAMALPUR, Dec 2 (TIWN): The rooms of Court and the sub-divisional administration have a tradition of being closed during the days of holidays and strikes. Basically it has remained the scenario of the public places and offices around the country. But it has a sheer exception at Kamalpur. The deed writers’ room at Kamalpur has a different tradition.
The deed writers’ room has created a tradition of being opened on all holidays and strikes. And it has become so as the illegal traders of gambling and contraband items pass their times in that room. Moreover, managing a portion of the deed writers those illegal traders have turned the room into their permanent room in all the days of the week. Interestingly, the administration has a glimpse of the proceedings. But the authority has never found keen enough to seriously look into the matter.
As a result, the deed writers’ room has turned into a secured den of all kinds of illegal activities. Even the practise of gambling has become rampant in every evening. But, the question has aroused that who would bell the cat.
