AGARTALA, Dec 1 (TIWN): Tripura left front Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday paid floral tribute to Maya Roy Barman, who was the wife of former Congress Chief Minister Samir Roy Barman.

Maya Roy Barman passed away on Thursday early morning and her dead-body was brought to the state at 1 PM here at Agartala Airpourt.

The present Chief Minister visited Samir Barman’s home at 2.30 PM.

Reportedly, both the Chief Ministers of Tripura are personally very closed and their families too, although politically they are considered as ‘rivals’.
