KAMALPUR, Nov 28 (TIWN): The saga of demonitization has already casted heavy impact ob the life and living of commoners. Though maximum people remain with the decision, but life has become quite hard here. And it has become for the lack of currency notes of 500 & 1000 denominations. The note of 2000 denomination fails to solve the problem due to the lack of smaller currency. And the banks like UBI, SBI & UCO have deepened the problems as the respective ATMs remained cashless.
In the subdivisional town of Kamalpur three banks operate.ATMs. The ATM of UCO Bank remains non-functional for more than two months. A week ago the SBI served with currency notes of 2000 denomination. But the ATM has remained cashless for last four to five days. The ATM of the UBI bank provides notes of 100 denominations for two days in last two weeks.
As a result, the commoners have to suffer a lot. And the banks has failed to provide any ray of hope for their negligence.
