AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): Time and again daily life's schedule is disrupted by bandh or strike calls given by CPI-M in protest against some issue or the others like now demonetization. And in a CPI-M rules state like Tripura, it is for sure to lose at least 15-20 days of work a year because of imposition of strike announced by the communist party.

A bandh is supposed to be in support of a cause. But does it actually serve that cause? One just cannot be too sure. A forceful state-wide bandh means disruption of traffic, closure of establishments, poor collection of excise and customs duty and many more.

These all add up to a huge loss for the nation. This bandh 'business' in India is growing daily by hapless negative parties like CPI-M because it is the easiest way for the party to get free publicity without any capital investment. A 12-hour nation-wide bandh called by the trade 10 trade unions have disrupted the common life including the traffic movement.Vehicular movement  to be paralysed across Tripura as bandh supporters will  block national highways, state highways and other roads, putting a halt to plying of passenger buses, trucks, and auto-rickshaws, police sources said.

Rail services  affected as trains stopped at diffrent stations.

12 hrs strike affected work in central government offices, public sector units, including post offices and banks as bandh supporters prevented staff from entering their offices, sources said.

Communism needs steady supply of poor people, poverty so that CPI-M party can use unemployed, poor people as party cadres.

Its just a matter of time when CPI-M's existance will end in a political grave after loss in Tripura elections.
