AGARTALA, Nov 27 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress on Sunday in a press meet led by PCC Chief Birjit Sinha said that along with the whole nation, Congress will also observe the ‘Akrosh Diwas’ on Monday protesting against the demonetization step taken by Modi Govt.

But opposing the strike called by CPI-M; Birjit Sinha said, ‘Strike is not the solution, rather it will create more chaos in the crisis time’.

‘We do not support the 12 hrs strike called by CPI-M and few other parties, but as a part of the protest against Demonetization, Congress will gather before Congress Bhawan on Monday 6 PM and hold a protest rally’, said Sinha.  

Along with Congress, BJP also opposed the strike in Tripura.
