Tripura Railway to get double lane tracks at Pecharthal-Kumarghat route : ‘First survey on the project is done’  : BJP State President talks to TIWN

AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): The first survey on alternative Broad gauge lines has done already, BJP State Secretary Biplab Deb told TIWN. This will increase the speed of train in coming days, he added. Talking to TIWN Deb further mentioned, on last 11/ 8/ 2016 the decision taken to construct alternative BG routes in Tripura. On that time it was said that the route via Kumarghat-Pecharthal-Dharmanar may help to increase the speed. The link was said to chained from Pecahrthal-Kamalpur-Dharmanagar-Agartala-Udaipur-upto Belonia but presently work on Kumarghat-Pecharthal is in focus, said Deb. 'In one-way the speed remains very slow, but the double route will speed up the trains, which is a part of fastening rail journey by Govt of India, said Deb. Biplab Deb further claimed PM Narendra Modi’s Act-East Policy is actually a developmental policy, which will bring many more developments in state in coming days. Now to increase the speed of train, the work on alternative routes to begin soon.

The budget will be increased more as the country will face an Economic Boom due to the Black-Money hacking led by Modi government, Deb added.

‘The black money curbing will benefit the country’s economy a lot and after few clearance of black money economy growth will be at a high. GDP also will raise a lot’, said Deb. 

It’s worthy to mention here that during the inauguration of Delhi-Agartala Express train Union Minister Suresh Prabhu on 31st July at Agartala Railway Station said that Indian Railway Dept. is thinking to invest more for rail-connectivity in the coming years. 

He said on that day, “Two budgets on railway have already been placed by BJP led Central Govt. Last year it was Rs. 1 lakhs crores and next year we are planning to invest atleat 1.30 lankh crores”.  He also said, “In 2- 3 years, the budget has been increased a lot. In 2014-15 it was 5,489 crores, in 2015-16 it was 6,100 crores, in 2016-17 the target will be atleatsRs. 7,000 crore”.

Biplab Deb in this regard said, soon the price hike will be downed as the poor people’s money to come back soon with the surgical strike on black money & rail budget to be expand for NE.

About pantry car issue in Tripura Sundari, Biplab Deb said that he talked to NFR GM H K Jaggi & the food problem will be solved soon.
