AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): Till day nobody could deny about CPI-M’s excellent diplomatic skills, which has kept the party in power since long 23 yrs in Tripura. Bijan Dhar held a press meet, immediately after the Bi-election result was out in Tripura for 2 Assembly seats with a pale face, where he stressed unnecessarily TMC’s joining with CPI-M at Parliament protest against Demonetization. A larger section of press representatives raised the question, ‘Why Dhar exactly mentioned about CPI-M & TMC’s joining after the election result?, whereas BJP signaled to alliance’. In reply MLA Sudip Barman said, “The only task which given to Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar is that he would keep the oppositions as handicaps by creating various confusions among the mass & he has been successful in it. This is the chief reason of TMC’s poor result in bi-election”.

It’s worthy to mention here that CPI-M General Secretary Bijan Dhar along with his comrades Goutam Das, CPI Ranjit Majumder, Forward Block Bijoy Roy and RSP member at Melarmath Party Office said that at Central level left front party in alliance with TMC, CPI, CPI-M will hold a strike protesting against Modi govt’s initiative to harass the common people in the name of black money curbing; which has created further doubts among the masses about TMC's intention.

However, TMC has accepted the fact that in last 3 / 4 days there was a gap which lead TMC into vote-crisis. “We have accepted the result and also congratulating CPI-M for their success”. “My message is to TMC that do not worry, TMC will get back in earlier position”, said Barman. Barman further claimed that BJP has given atleast 30 Jio Mobiles, Rs. 2 lakhs in total to gain votes.

It’s worthy to mention here, CPI-M candidate Jhumu Sarkar had won in the election with 15,769 votes, BJP occupying the 2nd position with 12,395 votes, Trinamool 5692 and Congress 1063. At Khowai CPI-M candidate Biswajit Dutta got 24,810 votes, Trinamool 8716 votes, BJP 2528 votes and Congress 696 votes.

Presently TMC is shocked with the result and the media coverage done on Wednesday hitting TMC. It was declared that on Nov 28 at 11 AM TMC will conduct a state level meeting and after that various planning will be taken for the upcoming Assembly-Election-2018.
