BJP turns leading opposition against CPI-M in Tripura :  BJP calls for  all opposition parties to align together,  Bijan Dhar signals Trinamool’s alliance with CPI-M in Anti-Modi Mission

AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Tripura by-elections proven again that if opposition parties BJP,TMC, Congress can come together then they will be able to defeat CPI-M. But opposition vote splits only helping CPI-M to stay in power. After the Bi-election result was declared on Tuesday morning, curiosity raised among a larger section of people after the crucial results that whether Tripura opposition parties will be aligned together or not as BJP (Barjala) led voting trends as the opposition, another constituency (Khowai) is led by TMC. But breaking down all the barriers, BJP State President Biplab Deb and State Observer Sunil Deodhar said in a press meet held immediately after the bi-election result was out, “We call all opposition parties in Tripura to align with BJP and challenge the CPI-M in this upcoming bi-election”. On the other hand CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar alongwith his comrades Goutam Das, CPI leader Ranjit Majumder, Forward Block leader Bijoy Roy and RSP member held press meet at Melarmath Party Office.He said, “Both the results of VC Election, Assembly Election has signified that people after coming out of all the dilemmas, had voted peacefully and for the sake of peace they have chosen CPI-M again”.

.“In Village Committee election one seat was occupied by Congress at Sinduk Pathar and another seat by CPI-M at Rajargaht”,Dhar said.

“Assembly seats have been gone to CPI-M with massive percentage of votes”, Dhar said.

“Although the Barjala vote result is below expectation, but the seat belonged to Congress earlier. In that constituency CPI-M gathered 44.84 %, BJP 35. 24 %, TMC 16. 18 %, Congress  3.6 %, Amra Bangali below 1%”, he said.

About Khowai-25 constituency Dhar announced, “ CPI-M has achieved 66.9 %, TMC 23.5 %, BJP 6.8 %, Congress 1.8 %”.

Most importantly Bijan Dhar gave a signal replying a media question about demonetization that at Central level left front party in alliance with TMC, CPI, CPI-M will hold a strike protesting against Modi govt’s initiative to harass the common people in the name of black money curbing.

BJP President said, “In compare to Amarpur Bi-election this time BJP’s vote was increased with 10 %. I call the opposition parties to join hands with us to ensure the downfall of Left Front Era from Tripura”.

Biplab Deb further said that Amit Saha has greeted Tripura BJP’s progressive result and wished good luck for  2018 Assembly Election mission.
