Agartala, June 9 (TIWN): As 10,323 teachers fate waiting for uncertain futures after Tripura High Court terminated their appointments, Govt. of Tripura is taking all steps to maintain the confidentiality in filing a SLP before Supreme Court. Before filing a formal special leave petition (SLP) in Supreme Court, a three member official delegation again visited national capital city Delhi. However, after details discussion, the team is supposed to come back on Tuesday.
An official source says, under the leadership of law secretary Datamohan Jamatia, three member delegation reached New Delhi on 7th June. The team also includes Director of School Education Pradip Chakraborty. During this time, officials met with senior advocates of Supreme Court.
This is the second time state govt. officials spoke to Supreme court advocates. However, the government is yet to clarify the standpoints in this regard. State Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty, already announced, his government shall not expose the trick before taking any actions. Accordingly, the Delhi tour of the officials have been kept top confidential.
