AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Railway dept. is shocked with the recent accident held near Kanpur which claimed over more than 140 people--- in an interview BJP State President told TIWN on Monday.

‘I will discuss various state’s railway issues at Delhi, but presently Railway Dept is concerned about the terrible accident held there at Kanpur’, said Deb.

It’s worthy to mention here that the death toll in one of the worst rail accidents in the country that took place on Sunday when the Indore-Patna Express rolled off the tracks near Kanpur, rose to 142 on Monday, officials said.

Over 150 people were injured in the tragedy when 14 coaches of the train ran off the rails near Pukhrayan station, about 60 km from Kanpur city.
