Cash crisis continues

AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Although via SMS banks told the customers that their ATMs are open since many days before, but literally the plan was failed here, as maximum ATMs are left non-functional even after 10 days of announcement, which has generated anarchy in Tripura.

More or less in every subdivisions the situation is same. In most of the places people has are bound to wait before the long lines at State Banks. 

 Reserved Bank printed notes although was said to be continued well but the old notes of Rs. 100 are really lacking. 

Big notes Rs. 2000's withdrawal has kept the crisis situation same, TIWN reported. 

The usual non-workable condition the ATMs at Agartala are the chief reason behind such a disorder, resulting a huge rush of customers before banks. However, a very little number of ATMs worked for a time on Saturday but public were found to run from one ATM to another in search of money.

On the other hand, thousands of persons queued up outside banks at Agartala from Friday as banks opened for the second day after currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 were demonetised.
