AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): When the chit fund issue is raised it calls back many pains of poor people, who couldn’t understand on that time that their hard earned moneys will go to dustbin like this.

Talking to a victim, who works in other’s home, named Rahima Begum (45), who had deposited here Rs. 1 lakhs day by day in Rose Valley Chit fund group of agencies, she said that she tried to hang herself after she lost around Rs. 1 lakhs at Rose Valley, but was saved by her son on that time.

‘I washed cloths, pans, plates of other people to gather the money, which was looted by Rose Valley’, she said.

According to her, Rose Valley increased the faith among public by giving various offers and it assured that money not only doubles but it gets triple in much shorter time. But after storing the faith of poor people for long 2 / 3  years, the chit fund resulted as more than disaster.

Rahima still believes that Manik Sarkar will get her money back, but if he looses his CM post then it will be tough for them to get the money, as he is the only ‘Wisest’ Minister ever !

‘Lust for money and triple profit has ruined us’, she said.

It’s worthy to mention here that Bijita Nath told TIWN that the "money returning" issue is seen by the finance dept. and Tripura govt has no objection if CBI inquiry is done.

Bandhan Bank CEO told TIWN during a face to face interview that Govt should aware the people about the difference between chit fund and banking. However, as per national media CPI-M Minister Badal Chowdhury and State Secretary Bijan Dhar told masses not to deposit money in chit fund, but it was the Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar who himself inaugurated the Rose Valley chit fund here in Tripura.

West Bengal Trinamool leader Shilabhadra Dutta on last Wednesday during bi-election campaigning raised question,  ‘If at West Bengal political leaders can be arrested with CBI inquiry why in Tripura CBI is not showing interest?’.

‘It’s true that at West Bengal TMC leaders have been arrested in chit fund scam and CPI-M is propagating that event till day, but what about that Golden history of Tripura Chief Minister becoming the ambassador of Rose Valley Chit fund group and sharing dais with the owners of Rose valley?’, said Dutta.

However, the victims in Tripura still believes that the Communist Govt, which is known as the poor people’s govt would get back their hard earned money to them.
