AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): To clarify a confusion regarding Govt Employees Federation’s joining in TMC, Tripura Govt Employees Federation (TGEF) President Santi Ranjan Debnath urged media, not to politicize the issue of people’s joining in any party.
Giving a major jolt more than 100 Govt employees who belonged Congress have joined Trinamool slamming Congress’s silence against Tripura’s 42 % DA Gap, low grade pay and not implementing 7th pay commission on Oct 19.
During the press meet discussion was also held about sugar price hike and TMC alleged that around Rs. 8 crores Tripura govt is looting without giving the subsidy to the beneficiaries.
But after that massive criticism began and thus Debnath made it clear that Tripura Govt Employees Federation doesn’t backed by any political party, but if they pensioners openly joined TMC what’s wrong about it, when everyone leaving Congress are joining TMC.
‘Our aim is to bring back the public’s right, who have been deprived under CPI-M Era’, Denath said.
