AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): To indicate that CPI-Ms are by nature ‘traitors’, Tripura BJP General Secretary Rajib Bhattacharjee said on the eve of Bi-election for Barjala Constituency, “CPI-Ms always shelter all kinds of betrayers and backbone-less members for their party & Jiten Sarkar is an exact example of it, who left Congress to join CPI-M when Congress party was undergoing tremendous crisis. Jiten Sarkar to save own future and to confirm his rose-bed till he dies, had escaped from Congress and joined in CPI-M”. “Barjala area suffers through various major problems including water, electricity, bad-roadway, but giving up all the agonies of the public Sarkar ran after the ruling party and that is the way that Brajala MLA tried to seal his ‘Safe-future’”, he added. “The person who was sent to Assembly and was given with responsibility of the whole area, today due to his betray, the Bi-election is going to be conducted”, said Bhattacharjee.

He further said public also avoid to vote for TMC, as the main aim with which the party itself emerged in Tripura (as they said to get rid of CPI-M / Congress alliance), now they are getting close to CPI-M as a move against Modi’s black money curbing mission.

Public will vote for Sista Mohan Das, who will be the right candidate for Barjala. About Congress, he said, ‘Congress is a by-gone era, so discussion on it is non-valid’.

It’s worthy to mention here that talking to Jiten Sarkar, after he left the Congress party and joined CPI-M he told TIWN that after 40 years of working for Congress he got the point that CPI-M is actual well-wisher of people and thus he joined in CPI-M.

However, the new candidate which the CPI-M now has chosen is much controversial than Jiten Sarkar was.

Jhumu-Dance” is now much popular, which was termed after Jhumu Sarkar’s lunatic dance on the day of Durga-Puja-Bisarjan-2016 was exposed before the public via TV channels.

The bi-election to be held in 2 constituencies : Khowai-25 and Barjal-4. From CPI-M Jhumu Sarkar (for Barjala) & Biswajit Datta (for Khowai) have been selected as the candidates.  From Trinamool Prakash Das (for Barjala) & Manoj Das (for Khowai) were selected as candidates. From Congress Rajendra Kumar Das (for Barjala)  & Pranab Biswash (for Khowai) are the candidates.

 Sista Mohan Das  (for Barjala)  & Tapan Pal (for Khowai) have been selected as the candidates for BJP. 

However, it’s to be seen now that whom the public would choose as the MLAs. There are 4 leading parties as : BJP, TMC, CPI-M and Congress and voters will decide the fate of those parties.
