Agartala, June 9 (TIWN): The West district administration today started two-day long special Lok Adalat, under which of the total, 302 cases would be disposed. The special Lok Adalat was inaugurated today at the Sadar District Magistrate and Collector office premises and will continue till tomorrow.
The Chief Secretary of the state- SK Panda inaugurated the Lok Adalat by lighting the ceremonial lamp at around 11.30 am, this morning.
Under the Tripura Land Revenue and Reforms Act-1960, a total of 173 cases have been scheduled for disposal today in six courts while altogether 130 cases to be heard on tomorrow
On the same venue, the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar will dispose public recovery demand related about 144 cases and 100 Cr. PC cases under the Sadar sub-divisional administration on tomorrow.
In the two day long special Lok Adalat, a total of 150 cases under United Bank of India, 100 cases under State Bank of India and 40 cases under State Co-operative Bank would be disposed.
During the inauguration function, the Revenue Secretary- Swapan Saha, the Regional Manager of State Bank of India- Pramod Pal and the DGM and CRM of United Bank of India, Tripura region- Parikshit Subuddhi were remain present. Besides, the other bank officials also remained present in the special Lok Adalat.
