AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): Tension has gripped the Dukli area, after a woman’s dead body was recovered from there. The deceased has been identified as Sandhya Sarkar (45).

She was missing since long 4 days, TIWN reported. Her rotten body was found in a lonely area. This is the same place where in the month of February, Tripura police arrested 2 accused over the dual murder case of mother and son at East Dukli and another accused escaped to Bangladesh.

Day by day crimes, murders, robberies are increasing in Agartala City  On Oct 20, a 20 years girl was found dead mysteriously in her room at Sibnagar.On the same day a vehicle which found burnt at Pratapgarh.  It was in Pratapgarh that  a dead-body with severe injuries was recovered before 2 days.

2 round bullets, Phensedyl, chorex and huge amount of drug were recovered from the heart of Agartala City on Thursday.  On the same day, BSF had arrested 2 persons from border areas at Nischintapur, Agartala for smuggling drugs on the same day.

It was on Oct 1, another young man was arrested for such activities from the same city. A smuggler, resident of Tripura Raju Debbarma was arrested with 2 packets of brown sugar from Agartala Gol-Chakkar area.
