AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): All the govt. officials in Tripura who are in bi-election duty, are now busy to conduct a peaceful voting on Saturday. Talking to SP West Abhijit Saptarshi he said, all are now busy with bi-election as only few hours left for the polling day. SP West at Umakanta Field dictated all the police force, CRPF how to go with this election, TIWN eye-witness reported from Umakanta Field, where since 11 am all staffs had been left for Barjala booths. A huge number of security has been deployed at both the constituencies. At Khowai there are 52 booths, whereas at Barjala there are 48 booths have been set and enough number of CRPF, Police are there to ensure the safety and peace of the booths. 9 companies of CRPF deployed in both the constituencies, TIWN reported. However, TIWN talked to the opposition party leaders as well as the ruling party regarding their expectations in the poll-results.

BJP General Secretary Rajib Bhattacharjee told TIWN that BJP is coming at Barjala for sure. MLA Asish Saha on behalf of TMC said that people should conduct a peaceful voting and they should vote for a change for their betterment and bring a ray of hope for Change in coming 2018 Election.

Talking to TIWN, BJP State President Biplab Deb  expressed much confidence about the upcoming bi-election. He said, “At Barjala constituency BJP will definitely win and CPI-M will defeated by BJP for sure. As the other parties as TMC, Congress all are sleeping, so question doesn’t arise that they can beat BJP & public are not going to vote for them”. Asking about Khowai constituency, Deb said, “At Khowai also BJP’s condition is very good and we are confident that we will win there also”. “I’m very positive after holding door to door campaigning and talking to the public”, said Deb.

On the other hand, WB TMC leader Shilabhadra Dutta in his speech at Agartala Natun Nagar told the masses on Nov 16 that CPI-M of Tripura and BJP at centre is inked and liked by mutuality and thus the emerging power of BJP in Tripura is just for show, which is not original but “hybrid”.

MLA Ashish Saha, said in that 23 years of regime Congress had helped CPI-M to stay in power, but now TMC alone is enough to wipe out the long ruling CPI-M party from Tripura.  TMC is the only opposition to CPI-M here and other parties are anyhow linked with CPI-M, claimed Dutta.

The BJP, Trinamool are the chief opposition parties of Tripura CPI-M and this election will decide which opposition party would mark in election 2018 which is to be held after 1 and half year.

On the last day of bi-election campaigning CPI-M refreshed each and every voters mind to vote for CPI-M at Barjala constituency. ‘To continue the continuous developments,  vote for Jhumu Sarkar’, CPI-M raised slogan. The opposition parties came in massive rallies, whereas CPI-M in part went at each and every corners of Barjala constituency.

Confident CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said, public knows who is good for them and they will vote accordingly.
