AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): All are now eyeing for a peaceful voting in Tripura, as Tripura to be introduced by 2 new MLAs at Barjala (Agartala) & Khowai. Political parties had tried their level best to propagate own parties; because winning one seat in that election will be a huge gaining, especially for the opposition parties---TMC, BJP and Congress. Talking to Trinamool Congress MLA Asish Saha on Friday he told TIWN that a peaceful voting should be ensured by the election commission by keeping it Ragging-Free. Saha said, “Trinamool will also will give voluntary help to the public so that no peace-less situation arrive unexpectedly and Election commission’s interference is necessary in it”. As the party message Saha said, “Public should give vote for change. Every votes are important and thus people should give their votes very seriously and understanding the gravity of the candidates”.

The issue of “Ragging” had raised by BJP, TMC many times, however, Bijan Dhar behalf of CPI-M claimed that ‘No Ragging’ is held in Tripura polls.

It’s worthy to mention here that the Trinamool in Tripura had emerged with a move to fight against the Congress & CPI-M alliance. With that move many members from congress had joined TMC and few in CPI-M and also in BJP.

After Congress MLA Jiten Sarkar had resigned from his MLA post to join CPI-M, from that time the seat has been vacant against which now bi-poll will be held. On the other hand at Khowai, CPI-M MLA Samir Deb Sarkar who passed away on August 28 last, had left his seat vacant.

Thus poll is to be held for his vacant post : From CPI-M Jhumu Sarkar (for Barjala) & Biswajit Datta (for Khowai) have been selected as the candidate.  From Trinamool Prakash Das (for Barjala) & Manoj Das (for Khowai) were selected as candidates. From Congress Rajendra Kumar Das (for Barjala)  & Pranab Biswash (for Khowai) are the candidates. From BJP Sista Mohan Das  (for Barjala)  & Tapan Pal (for Khowai) have been selected as the candidate.

Thus, it’s only after Nov 19 that the voters will decide the fate of political parties.
