KAILASHAHAR, Nov 18 (TIWN): Congress is not so much worried about the ‘demonetization’ as much as CPI-M and Trinammol are now concerned about public agonies due to demonetization. Fooling the poor people, rural people has been the agenda of Communists, which once again proven when Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty lied a in programme held at Gournagar block, under Kailashahar on Thursday. Addressing the gathering Chakraborty said, “No black money will be returned with the move of Modi Govt, rather it’s tremendously affecting the common men’s lives”. “Already 24 people died due to this demonetization”, said Chakraborty. The programme was held where among 217 beneficiaries (under 23 Panchayats) were provided with various items under Finance Development Fund scheme, worthing Rs. 12 lakhs 62 thousand rupees. However, it’s not necessary to define that it’s a central govt. project where Education Minister boosted CPI-M Govt with BJP led Central’s funds without giving any credit to Centre.

Whereas yearlong lines are observed in Tripura before patrol pumps, LPG gas agencies, CNG stations----but those things never hit CPI-M here, and surprisingly with the 8 / 9 days pains of common men the govt here is shedding tears and tears, complaining the centre for ‘public’s agony’, whereas from Auto driver to govt employees; all are saying that ‘the pains are Temporary’. Public are ready to lift some pains for country’s progress, but Chakraborty claims that 24 people died due to demonetization, which is fully baseless and nothing related to demonetization.

TIWN correspondent further informed that from the beginning to end of the Gournagar block’s programme the Minister was busy to blast the central govt as far as possible.

However, the Govt of India  gave a shock to the black money holders leaving  only a few hours to spend or deposit Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, with the announcement of above than Rs. 2.5 lakh’s to be under the doubt for keeping  ‘Black-Money’.

Public although are facing tough times due to cashless condition, ATMs’ non-functioning mode, long queues before the banks------ but everyone is appreciating Govt’s decision by saying this trouble is nothing if it can serve the country.

However, all the opposition parties started blasting the central govt, however, Congress was less in this blame game. CPI-M nationwide held protest on it and Bijan Dhar supporting CPI-M’s nationwide protest told TIWN, “We have already given our statement, and the Chief Minister of Tripura has said how Modi Govt is diverting public’s focus from the actual problem of black money”.

It’s worthy to mention here that notwithstanding the significant inconveniences and loss of productivity caused by it, the Narendra Modi governments currency demonetisation move has been gaining support from the citizens, a survey has found.

According to the survey by LocalCircles - a citizen engagement platform - 79 per cent of those surveyed citizens fully supported the demonetisation programme while only 3 percent were against it.

Another 18 percent supported the initiative though they found the inconvenience caused by it painful, said the survey conducted amongst 10,000 citizens across 200 cities.
