AGARTALA (Barjala), Nov 16 (TIWN): ‘If at West Bengal political leaders can be arrested with CBI inquiry why in Tripura CBI is not showing interest?’, question raised West Bengal Trinamool leader Shilabhadra Dutta on Wednesday. ‘It’s true that at West Bengal TMC leaders have been arrested in chit fund scam and CPI-M is propagating that event till day, but what about that Golden history of Tripura Chief Minister becoming the ambassador of Rose Valley Chit fund group and sharing dais with the owners of Rose valley?’, said Dutta at Natunanagar during Barjala constituency’s campaigning ahead of bi-election there, which is to be held on Nov 19. He further asked the voters to bring change in Tripura and to mark 2018 with the political revolution by massively voting for TMC. He further indicated that BJP and CPI-M are on mutual agreement and that’s why, no CBI inquiry has been done in Tripura, whereas at West Bengal CBI has arrested the leaders too. Why partiality with Tripura in CBI inquiry? Dutta said. In that open conference Barjala Candidate, former Minister Prakash Ch. Das, TMC MLA Ashish Saha, TMC leader Viki Prasad, Sushanta Chowdhury, Biplab Kar, Shanti Debnath and others remained present.

There is no alternative of development, and development is work of a Govt. If Mamata Banerjee can provide rice at Rs. 2 per Kilo, if she can provide bicycle to its 43 lakhs students, why CM Manik Sarkar can not do it?------ as Tripura has only 37 lakhs of population.

Addressing the gathering he said, the crowd itself is saying how much people of Tripura hates CPI-M who is misleading the state since 23 years.

However, if development is the first & foremost duty of a govt then what Manik Sarkar has given to its people, question remains. Mamata Banerjee after the thumping victory in assembly poll, hiked  10% in Pay Band for the state gov't employees of West Bengal, which has been effective from 1st July.

In compare to West Bengal Tripura govt. employees are getting less than 50 % of pay scale than the Central Govt.

Neither Chief Minister in Tripura has any desire to bring industry, margin unemployment—resulting in chaos in Tripura.

Dutta further challenged that 2018 will be marked as the victory of TMC and the downfall of CPI-M.
