AGARTALA, Nov 12 (TIWN): Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy inaugurated the 9th convocation of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala on Saturday.
This year the convocation was held in College premise, that is Visvesvayarya auditorium whereas in the last year it was held at Rabindra Bhawan.
President of Manipal University, Jaipur Prof. Sandeep Sancheti, Chairman Board of Governors NIT Padma Shri Dipak B Pathak, Prof Gopal Mugeraya, Director of NIT, Film star Nana Patekar also remained present during the convocation.
Governor Tathagata Roy congratulated the students and the professors for their excellent achievements in academic session.
The National Institute of Technology, Agartala, shortened to NIT Agartala or NITA, is a technology-oriented institute of higher education established by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India in Agartala, India.
