Agartala, June 7 (TIWN): Failing to keep faith on the assurances of leaders and ministers, most among the terminated teachers have started hunt for new job. Besides, applying in other departments, they have resorted to take higher education.

The deserving teachers are not ready to wait for the Supreme Court’s verdict regarding the case of teachers’ appointment. But, among the 10,323 teachers who were terminated, most are over-aged. Hence, those teachers have no other alternative than having faith on the leaders and ministers. The fact is, as a consequence of the cancellation of appointment of 10,323 teachers, those over-aged and committed supporters of ruling party will create a major problem and it could be ascertained.

The state witnessed the agitation of deprived job aspirants; especially the party supporters among the deprived agitated the most against the state government. Besides, a number of party offices were set ablazed as a result of the agitation. The party cadres stirred up for being deprived of offers. Hence, it would be ascertained by far that the demonstration will raise its peak if the Supreme Court’s verdict goes against the teachers and they are terminated.

The state government is giving repeated assurance that they will move to Apex Court for the continuation of jobs of 10,323 teachers. If the Supreme Court’s verdict goes against the government’s petition, the over-aged teachers will not get any job. Apart from the over-aged, teachers who passed out with good marks do not want to waste their time. They are trying to prepare themselves mentally by Dec 31. The teachers who were having business have restarted their business. They are searching students for private tuitions. Hence, the 10,323 terminated teachers now have started preparations to find income source as their fate is uncertain.
