KAMALPUR, Nov 8 (TIWN): An unprecedented chaos prevailed at prestigious and 60 years old Harachandra Class XII School at Manik bhandar here.

And the situation worsened when the school education department dissolved its Managing Committee and appointed an administrator last evening. 
The decision was taken at a meeting held at the directorate last evening.

And it happened so as the Managing Committee not responded to two consecutive show cause notices regarding a service book related saga.

In recent past the issue of seniority for promotion between two teachers namely Smt Kamala Bhattacharjee and Shambhu Lodh came into tussle and the matter went to the Coury.

As the school remained a grant-in-aid one, hence the School Education department was introduced into the matter. Then the department asked for the service books of the two teachers.

But the managing committee never produced the service books and also denied the two consecutive show cause notices. Then the department dissolved the committee last evening and appointed District Education Officer as administrstor for six months.

Meanwhile, the issue of first Headmaster of the school also became an apple of discord.
