AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): IPFT, TSP were enough threat to the peaceful atmosphere of Tripura and now another new group has emerged in Tripura named ‘Tripura Janajaiti Swa-Shwashan Sangram Parishad’, who also wants more power to the so called ‘Backward’ population of the state. Reportedly, this committee has been created on Saturday, with a rally began from Agartala Press Club and they roamed around the city. This committee comprises of Hindus, Muslims and other communities but fully based on tribals of Tripura. A tension has emerged in Tripura as a section of Tribal in Tripura are demanding for a separate land and the rest of them like to stay in this present land only. Such dividing policy however, created many time riot-like situations in state earlier. Now with the emerging of one more unit of separatists has increased the tension of both the state and central govt further, although India Govt never encouraged the separatists’ demands here.

Reportedly,  Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi & Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh didn’t bother to reply to the letter sent a month back by Tipraland State Party (TSP) (another separatist group) members, where they expressed their desire to make a separate state named Tripraland.

It’s worthy to mention here that few groups from Tribal Community in Tripura (Not All Tribals) are seeking for a separate land since many years and trying to pollute the mind of young generations including Bengali and Tribal, resulting many unnecessary clashes are occurring in Tripura---Example is 23rd August.

In a press meet held at Agaratla Press Club on Oct 14 the TSP members led by President of TSP Chittaranjan Debbarma & Vice-President Sonacharan Debbarma told media that demanding for a separate Tipra-land 120 people are going to Delhi, where they will sit in mass-demonstration at Jantar Mantar. They also would try to meet the Prime Minister with their demand, he said. They will hold the mass demonstration for 2 day long (from Oct 26-27).Their journey will began via Sampark Kranti Express on 24th Oct afternoon. Reportedly, they were failed to meet the prime minister and also their protest failed to leave an impact on the Central Govt.

The Twipra land demands fades away from concept when the reality comes. Whereas the separatists are fighting for full separation between Tribal and Bengalis to gain their political and commercial purpose, on the occasion of Diwali the school children of Pranavanada Vidyamandir & senior citizen on behalf of Bharat Seva Ashram Sangha kicked off a peace rally raising voice against the  increasing disruption among both the communities due to some political purpose. Tribal women and Benagli both in their traditional costumes walked across the city where around 1000 people joined.

The state govt also always has been rubbished the separate land demand.
