AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): Congress has begun the door to door campaigning for the upcoming bi-election, which is to be held on Nov 19.

Congress had submitted the last nomination paper for Barjala constituency on Nov 2, which was the last date for nomination paper submission, following a massive rally at Agartala led by Birjit Sinha.

On Friday, MLA Gopal Roy on behalf of Barjala candidate urged voters to vote for Congress candidate Rajendra Kumar Das.

Congress State President Birajit Sinha and MLA Gopal Roy jointly declared the names via a press meet as from Barjala constituency its Rajendra Kumar Das & at Khowai Pranab Biswash have been declared as the bi-poll candidates, on Oct 23.
