KAMALPUR, Nov 4 (TIWN): The Sayak drama troop of Kamalpur arranged for school level drama competition here at Kamalpur. The one-act play competition would be held on 5th and 6th November next. The Vice President of the troop Sayak, Bijit Goswami informed about it.

After the endeavour of Sayak, Nagar Panchayat also extended its hands. In the competition in total six schools of the sub-division would participate. The competition would begin on 5^th November at Nazrul Bhavan.

MLA Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha would inaugurate the competition. After the brief inaugural program three schools would perform on that day. Salema Class XII School would stage “Sundar Bagh”.

Then Harerkhola High School would stage “Hayre Amar Bouma”. Then it would be the turn of Fulchari High School with their presentation “Sesh Thikana”. On the next day, KC Girls’ Class XII would stage “Dankel Asche”.

Kamalpur Government Class XII School would present their production “Jago Nari Jago”. The last production would be of Kamalpur Madrassa Class XII School “Eito Samay”.

This initiative of Sayak got organized for second consecutive years and it got praised by all sects of people. But, according to the commoners, the initiative would be more successful if the participation of more schools might be ensured in the competition.
