AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): 20 families of CPIM supporters joined the BJP in Pecharthal Chakma Society under Unakoti District.

The local BJP Leader said that altogether 20 family’s 63 voters owing allegiance to the CPIM & Cong deserter their party and joined the BJP formally by accepting the party flag.

BJP Leader also said that the trend of joining BJP was continuing all over the state. 'Actually despite failure of the ruling CPI (M) the Congress could never play the role of constructive opposition; this is the reason why the frustrated voters have joined the BJP and our ranks will swell all over the state' said BJP Leaders of Unakoti District Tripura.
