DHARMANAGAR, Oct 23 (TIWN): Border security force troops are maintaining a high degree security at border in Dharmanagar area of North District in view of Kali puja to avert any attempt of Drug trafficking and smuggling of other contraband items. The border is dominated 24X7 in order to ensure zero percent infiltration and smuggling, said L S Dhaiya, Commandant of BSF 159th Bn to TIWN on Sunday.The troops of BSF are highly motivated and sacrifice their personal comfort for the sake of giving peaceful nights to the Indian citizen.It is observed that troops hardly get to sleep during night in order to maintain tight security on border.159 BN BSF has seized brown sugar of crore of rupees on two occasions and a truck load of Ganja and also a full truck load of phensydril during last six months, said Dhaiya.Troops are so well trained that they execute the operation in such a professional manner that the smugglers find it difficult to accomplish their nefarious design, reported TIWN from North Tripura. BSF is doing well in area of Dharmanagar and its adjoining area.Beside this,159 BN BSF also earned the local support with their substantive civic action programs and Border Area Development programs.

Recently the troops of BSF also celebrated Durga puja with local population of Dharmanagar,wherein,the performance of BSF cultural program team was highly appreciated.

BSF is doing well because of their regular rigorous training and special programs conducted by BSF for their troops from time to time for their troops. It is true the BSF is firstline of defence of India.The local young generations is so impressed with BSF and wants to join this elite force.
