AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): Survey on alternative Broad gauge lines to begin from this running month, which will increase the speed of train in coming days, said BJP State President Biplab Deb in a press meet held at BJP Office on Thursday. On last 11/ 8/ 2016 the decision was taken to create alternative BG route in Tripura. On that time it was said that the route via Kailashahar-Pecharthal-Dharmanar may help in increasing the speed, said Deb. He also mentioned, immediately after the puja work on it will be started. “Within 2 days of Puja, the survey to begin on alternative route for BG’, said Deb. The link will be from Pecahrthal-Kamalpur-Dharmanagar-Agartala-Udaipur-upto Belonia, he added. In one-way the speed remains very slow, so without any delay when express trains are also coming in state, the work on it to be started, said Deb. Biplab Deb further claimed PM Narendra Modi’s Act-East Policy is actually a developmental policy, which will bring many more developments in state in coming days.

On the other hand from Saturday, Tripura getting another Express train just after it got its first express train before 2 months. After the journey began for Delhi Express, now Tripura to get its 2^nd express train from Saturday.

Most interesting matter is that without any flagging off programme by the BJP led Union Ministers the historical journey to begin.

Biplab Deb, during the press meet indicated that state BJP wanted to bring any Union Minister on that occasion, but ultimately seeing the busy schedule of the Ministers, Govt of India decided to gift Tripura people with express train without any party propagation as 2 months have already passed after Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the first express train in Tripura, when he promised that the express train to begin from that running.

It’s a puja-gift to Tripura people, said Deb. However, due to safety issue and ministers’ busy schedule, lack of bogies had delayed the inauguration, but Finally this Puja has brought double celebration for Tripura, as Kolkata-Agartala express train is  arriving state.

Now to increase the speed of train, the work on alternative routes to begin after the puja.
