The vexed masses created chaos over the main road saying, ‘Stop Black Marketing of LPG’ & ‘Stop Harassing Common Men’.Although the state govt clamors high about LPG & other petroleum commodities’ import via Bangladesh and other routes, but ultimately this is the reality which the common people have to face everyday. Just after Chief Minister Manik Sarkar called for a peaceful Durga Puja, the Common people came on road being frustrated of their everyday crisis. The LPG consumers were standing in lines from morning 4 AM, before the gas agency named Gas-O-Flame as usual. But when they opened office they declared that go-down has “No Gas”, whether since morning they didn’t give any signboard before their office.

Agitated people said, “They must hang a signboard as people waited in Line for 5 / 6 hours”. Public also claimed that the behavoiur of the owner is very bad with customers.

“The company has full stock of LPGs inside the go-down, but their main business is black marketing”, said another customer.

One of the protesters said, “In black marketing cylinders are available but the first priority which is to be given to the booking holders they are neglected”. “Everyday for LPG we have to stand in lines for hours, but how will they provide us LPG if their aims are to sell cylinders in black marketing?”
