UDAIPUR, May 26(TIWN) : For the last seven days. network of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in many parts of the state remains dumb and causing great problems not only to private consumers but also to the banking sectors ; most of the nationalized and state banking sectors are using the broadband services of BSNL. As a result of it the poor signal causing great difficulties in running the banking services especially the Core Banking Services(CBS) ATM services as well as Internet Banking.

For the mobile phone users the problem is even bigger as most of the times of the day network remains out of order. It is difficult to make a call and even if the line gets connected , there is hissing sound coming from the otherside. So many times, complaints have been raised by the consumers regarding the poor services provided by BSNL but there is none to look after the problem.

During the last one year more than 600 consumers have shifted to other network via Mobile Number Portability System(MNPS) , said a BSNL employee to TIWN over phone. According to TIWN sources Post Paid consumers of BSNL surrender their connection almost everyday due to poor services of BSNL. They prefer to take Pre-Paid services of AirTel and Vodafone.

At the office hours whenever anybody wants to make a call to other network, he or she gets the reply, "There is temporary congestion to the route dialed by you." To make the matter worse, even if the line gets connected somehow, it is automatically disconnected though the display shows the call is on. Unclear sound and weak network are now the features of India's so called No-1 service provider. The situation has come to such a sorry pass that none of the BSNL officials knew the reasons of such network problem though TIWN correspondent tried vigorously throughout Monday morning till afternoon.
