AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN) : International Older Persons' Day was observed at Rabindra Bhawan.

Social Welfare Minister Bijita Bath, Tripura Transport/ Power/Pabchayat Minister Manik Dey shared the dais along with other dignitaries.

The theme of the programme was "Take A stand Against Ageism".

P K Goyel, Director to SW & DR said in total 1 lakhs 25 thousand people are under Pension who belong to BPL families.
