AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): In pursuance to the policy of the Centre to bring misguided youth to the mainstream and rehabilitation, the BSF Tripura Frontier has put in sincere efforts to motivate such youths who have taken up arms and joined various militant outfits. As part of these efforts three NLFT(BM) militants- DalumaniJamatia o Champamura, KrishnaJamatia of Kunjamura and Hainalal Halam Kachuchera were motivated by BSF and surrendered before the 10 Bn BSF BOP Digyabari , Sidhai today.

The surrendered militants deposited one AK-56 rifles, one AK-47 rifle, one Chinese pistol with 197 bullets.The surrender of three main cadres with weapons is a big setback for the NLFT (BM) outfit which is already facing shortage of cadres and weapons coupled with internal strife in the outfit.
