AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): Only few days left when Durag Puja, the most famous celebration for Bengalis in Tripura will begin.

Countdown begins for Maha-Durgotsav, which is Bengali people’s greatest ceremony in overall year.

Bengalis greatest occasion which is known as Durga Puja to begin form Sep 8, just after 8 days from today.

Mahalaya is to be celebrated on Sep 30^th, will boost the Durga Puja fervor more.

Already in many clubs in Agartala begin lightings, music from the evening & people cheer up with Rabindra Sangeet, without any problem to the sound of the mikes.

Devi Durga is the symbol of motherly-hood, symbol for power, goodwill- who comes to earth for 3 days to visit her father’s home.

After 3 days on the occasion of Dasami, she says goodbye for another year with ‘Bahsan’.

However, people across Tripura is much excited as countdown begins for Durga Puja-2016 which to be started from October 8.
