AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): As per the directory, Govt. of Tripura. District e-Governance Society (DeGS) has been formed in each district of the State.

Initially, 21 high volume services had been identified under e-District in Tripura, out of which 16 services have already been rolled out throughout the State.

The eDistrict project was actually conceptualized to improve this experience and enhance the efficiencies of the various Departments at the district-level to enable seamless service delivery to the citizen.

But apart from 2 / 3 subdivsions internet speed is very low & most importantly digitally handicapped offices in Tripura yet to get proper facility of internet. Eventhough Police stations of Tripura do not have this proper internet facility
