BISHALGHAR, Sep 27 (TIWN): One person died and five more sustained critical injuries, when a speedy car dashed with Sonamura Agartala going Bus at Bishalghar Chachrimile area .

Police said, a speedy Maruti car coming and overturned in the road due to heavy speed and collide head-on with the bus.

Local people rushed to the spot and sent all the injured persons to G B Hospital and doctors declared all five in critical and one died on the way to hospital.

Angry mob gathered at the accident spot and set ablaze the offending car, which created massive traffic jam in NH-44 road. Later, police along with fire fighters doused the fire and cleared the road for smooth traffic movement. However, police confirmed that offending driver had escaped from the spot after the accident.
