AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Indian wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt's 2012 London Olympic bronze has been upgraded to silver after silver medallist Russia's Besik Kudhukhov tested dope positive.That happened a good four years after Dutt won his bronze. There is some information in the public domain that may provide a ray of hope for Dipa Karmakar, who failed to win the Olympic vault bronze by the provervial whisker, Now a Russian hacking site " Fancy Bears Hack Team" claims to have accessed scores of files from World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) that suggests USA's champion gymnast Simone Biles and tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams have been regularly doping. Also US star basketballer Elenna Delle Donne. The hacking site claimed that Simone Biles failed a doping test but managed to strangely avoid disqualification. The site said that Biles tested positive for methylphenidate, a banned substance , in August But it did not clarify whether this was during the Rio Olympics which ended on 21st August. Now if someone were to challenge Simone Biles and dig up her doping record sufficiently and if the Olympic organisers took note of that to the extent of deprive Biles of her vault gold, our girl Dipa would automatically be upgraded as winner of the vault bronze. But as they say, there is a huge gap between the cup and the lip.

Though the WADA files are now in public , courtesy Russian hackers out to avenge the IOC decision to keep out many of their top athletes on doping charges, the question is who will bell the cat ! Who will raise the issue ! 

One cant count on the Gymnastics Federation of India, which did not even send a manager with Dipa and coach Bisheswar Nandi, to raise the issue of Simone Biles consistant doping record .
