AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): Tripura’s fashion-savvy newly emerging BJP leader Biplab Deb frequently meets with various Union Ministers & claims that he stressed on various state issues with them. According to Biplab Deb, due to his intervention from National Highway to corruption every state issues are keenly noticed by the BJP led Central Govt.

Calling a press meet, Biplab Deb on Friday told media that in his last visit to Delhi during Sep 1st week, he met atleast with 3 Union Ministers. Whereas he had a long discussion with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, then he had meeting with Union Minister Vijay Goel and mainly he had meeting with Venkaiah Naidu, Minister for Urban Development.

In the meeting with Venkaih Naidu BJP President raised the issue of massive corruption in Tripura under Pradhan Mantri Awash Yojna (PMAY) & as an outcome of the meeting Naidu for the 1st time, India Govt. has started direct physical verification of the beneficiary list made by the state Govt. Adding to that Rajnath Singh talked about various security issues, including Kanchanpur Bru refugee repartition issue.

However, media raised question what about the Kolkata-Agartala Express Train, which was to be started before September. Biplab Deb in that press meet although tried to make up the issue, and said the train to be started from September, but atlast he agreed, “I forgot to talk about that, thanks for reminding. I will call the Central Railway Minister Official immediately”.

However,  in August during the Delhi-Agartala Express train inauguration it was said that from the running month itself the 2nd Express Train will be started, but due to some reason, it’s yet to be started. But BJP State President who claims about his continuous link with the Union Ministers and his wise motives to bring rapid development in state, was fully unprepared for that question.

After that press conference massive controversy raised against state president’s intention, who was once mocked by CPI-M State President Bijan Dhar by saying, “If a Cat dies in a town, Biplab Deb complaints to the Union Home Minister, but without any outcome”.
