CBI to move High Court challenging Bengal Minister’s bail order in next 2 days : When CBI will act against Manik Sarkar, State CPI-M for involvement in Rose valley, Sarada Chit fund scams ?

AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): In a sharp contrast between the cases of Bengal and Tripura, Tripura cadre IPS officer Rajib Singh who is Joint Director CBI looking after Eastern region is shy of any actions against Tripura’s CPI-M Govt. Rajib Singh was highly pro-active in putting Bengal Minister Madan Mitra into Jail but same Rajib Singh is shy of any actions against Manik Sarkar Govt due to his closeness with Tripura CM during stint as IG Tripura Police at Agartala. CBI is likely to move high court in the next two days, once they received the entire order, against the bail granted by lower court to former Bengal Minister Madan Mitra’s accused of involvement in Chit Fund scams. Although the lower court issued the bail order of Madan Mitra, but due to CBI’s action, the scene will be not so easy for this Chit fund scamster. The power of CBI had led West Bengal’s ruling party’s high position personalities into jail. But under Manik Sarkar’s era, CBI enquiry is a distant dream. Already under Tripura Police, SIT the investigation has been farce & unsatisfactory.

Tripura’s Chief Minister himself was present in Rose Valley Park inauguration ceremony & his cabinet Minister Bijita Nath anBijitaNath’s brother were directly involved in Rose-Valley money-swindling operations.

Although Manik Sarkar declined for having any link with Rose Valley group of agency but he is too afraid to call CBI inquiry against Rose Valley scams. The Rose Valley building is still standing on the heart of Agartala City.

But putting all responsibilities on SIT to control the case in support of Rose Valley, which looted 7 times more than Sarada----- Manik Sarkar has turned his eyes from the case. If he is so much wise then why no CBI inquiry has been held in Tripura whereas CBI is handling other states Rose Valley issues?

Moreover, Tripura High Court CJ T.Vhaipai on August 12, ordered SIT to submit fresh affidavit  to the court. Tripura High Court had expressed its displeasure over functioning of Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to investigate the cheating cases of Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) in the state. SIT team comprised of Senior inspectors namely Kamalendu Bhowmik, Samir Roy, Manik Debnath, Nityananda Sarkar , Surasen Tripura respectively.

Earlier, a division bench of the High Court, comprising former Chief Justice Deepak Gupta and Justice U B Saha, had directed the SIT to submit an affidavit again, detailing the estimations of movable assets of the companies and their top level functionaries.

However, following the arrest of 2 of the Rose Valley Group's directors namely Ashok Kumar Saha and Shibamoy Dutta at Kolkata, Kolkata Court had sent both of them for  Transit remand and alos CBI took both Directors to Odisha to unearth Rose Valley ‘s thousands of crores Chit Fund money trail involving many fake businesses.

But Tripura Police has failed miserably to progress in Chit Fund investigations so far, which has raised question against Manik Sarkar’s intension & silence of opposition parties are also very surprising.
