AGARTALA Sep 9 (TIWN): Tripura’s misery under CPI-M rule continue to hit women statewide as State ranked 4th nationally in ‘Crimes against women’. As expected Tripura Chief Minister on International Literacy Day praised CPI-M govt for its successive 5 years of mission to bring Tripura in number one position in allover the country in case of Highest Literacy rate (not educated rate). Praising the CPI-M Govt. in Tripura CM said, “In 2011 Tripura’s literacy rate was 87 % with the overall 5th position in the country. Within the gap of 5 years in 2016 Tripura’s literacy rate has reached 97.22 %, which is a unique example in the whole country”.But cunning Manik Sarkar avoided to mention topmost burning issues that Tripura is reeling under 98% unemployment with 7 lakhs unemployed youths, increasing rapes and murders. Violent crimes against women in State has put Tripura on nation’s map as the 4th highest among all states. Rating the state with 88 % crimes, the NCRB (National Crime Research Bureau) report mentioned that, among the North Eastern states, Tripura stands second and nationally 4th with 19139 registered cases of crimes against women.

CM further claimed that in 2011 the gap between genders was huge as women in 2011 as per the ratio, lagged behind than men with 9 point, but in 2016 the gap is just with 0.05 %. “I have full faith that Tripura is now number 1 for highest women literacy rate”, he added. He further congratulated the people of Tripura for co-operating with the state govt to increase the literacy rate.

“Tripura govt. also trying to provide the skill development training, alongwith Education, so that they can utilize the training for their livelihoods. In Tripura presently 25 skill-development centres are there”, he added. But Manik Sarkar hired a corrupt official, retd IAS officer S.K.Panda to head the State’s Skill Development Mission – which implies that Chief Minister is not at all serious about State’s skill development initiatives.

CM also talked about the drawbacks of the state govt. as till day around 1 lakhs of illiterate have recorded.

Although govt. claiming high about skill development but in practical ground from bamboo mission to garment industry all are facing existential crisis & huge challenges under this communist govt. CPI-M party which never supported the Capitalists & Industrialization - has damaged the socio-economic structure of the state. NE state Tripura being ruled by CPI-M since 23 years is suffering majorly from economic crisis.

State Govt employees poor salary, corruption in job recruitment, huge vacancy but less recruitment, DA deprivation, NIL industry have become the most burning issues increasing frustration among the young generation.

Whereas CM talked about highest Women Education in state, but in reality women are most unsafe in this state. Tripura ranked 4th in ‘Crime Against Women’, according to the recent report given by NCRB.

Rating the state with 88 % crimes, the NCRB report further said that, among the north eastern states Tripura stands second, whereas Assam tops the list in the NE states with 19139 registered cases.

Moreover in minor rape cases state has become number one in nation as most of the rape cases remain unreported.

Tripura has become a model of  sufferings and severe “Crisis” with price hike, commodity crisis, fuel crisis, illegal business of fuel, cooking gas.

But Chief Minister with honey quoted words loves to skip these issues. In the name of skill development his corrupted officers led by S.K.panda are manipulating fund diversions, but CPI-M Ministers are happy with the coconated figures highest literacy rate - not education / graduation or employment rates.
