Tripura observes 50th International Literacy Day-2016

AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN) : Along with the whole world, NE tiny state Tripura also observed International Literacy Day for the year 2016.
CM Manik Sarkar inaugurated a programme at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan at 12 noon.
Apart from Agartala other subdivisions of state Tripura also observed the day with full enthusiasm.
However, Tripura is now claimed for having highest literacy state in its country.
But literacy and educated are not the same thing - so lakhs ot uneducated people in State.
At the same time, burdens of 7 lakhs unemployment is bearing by this NE state under CPI-M regime since 23 years.
