AGARATALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): An awareness programme was held at Agartala Sukanta Academy on Tuesday.

Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath inaugurated the programme by lightning the lamp.

The Welcome address was given by Babul Chakraborty, the joint Director of Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency.

Following the welcome speech an extempore speech was delivered by school students on Renewable Energy.

The special secretary to the Dept of Science, Technology & Environment C Murti also delivered his valuable speech.

Addressing the students Minister Bijita Nath talked about the importance of using renewable energy.

Kalyan Kr Ghosh Director & Chief Executive Officer of Tripura Renewable Energy gave the presidential address.

The programme concluded with prize giving ceremony & vote of thanks by Project Director TREDA D S Das.
