AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): With the end of 3 day long state level meeting, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar called for a press meet at Melarmath Party Office to discuss about the issues talked about during 3 day long state level conference. Addressing the press meet, Bijan Dhar said after the state level conference held in the month of June, CPI-M has finished with the next conference just after 2 months. However, these 2 months have been considered as very eventful for Tripura, said Bijan Dhar.

“At the beginning of the conference we paid tribute to various departed veteran Communist leaders including Lt. V V Dakshinamoorthy, Kerala CPI-M former leader, Tripura’s senior Prof. Lt. S K Das, Lt. Nanigopal Murasing (Udaipur CPI-M Veteran leader), Lt. Tapas Dutta from Kamalpur, who was brutally murdered by few miscreants &  4 more respected personalities who died by an tragic accident”, Dhar said.

However, about the discussion issue Bijan Dhar said,  “2 issues were mainly discussed among which the First issue was various rumors spreading against CPI-M by TMC, BJP, Congress, IPFT. Tax hike was an issue used to play against CPI-M by few media channels, and few political parties who made many stories about it just to confuse the mass. Then taking the opportunity of Petrol Crisis, anti CPI-M parties tried their best to spoil the image of CPI-M”.  Bijan Dhar also criticized IPFT and Congress who called strikes on that crisis situation. “ IPFT at Baramura blocked National Highway amidst huge fuel crisis & Congress to proof their existence created much turmoil among the mass by generating violence in some places of Agartala including Moylakhola areas”, he added.

“The incident of 23rd August communal clash which hit Agartala City, was fully created by anti- CPI-M parties as TMC, BJP, Congress. They created an anarchy in that condition---- by blaming CPI-M for this riot like situation,  whereas IPFT members started first the issues by attacking women, children of the City. IPFT leaders promised to deploy huge number of Volunteers in Agartala during IPFT’s rally and also they assured the police about a peaceful rally. However, police controlled the situation and many citizens also helped the police to recover the situation”.

“But without judging the situation, the anti-CPI-M parties just for Political purposes, are creating mess and further stressing the issue unnecessarily. Many tribal students went back to home, who have however come back to Agartala”, said Dhar. “Lately but CPI-M has organized peace rally against the incident”, he added. Dhar also mentioned about the various programmes organizing by Tripura Govt. with the message of peace.

Dhar added, other political parties since many days were using the Tribal-Bengali sentiment at hills and the climax resulted on 23rd August. However, after political gain none of them will stand beside the tribals, Dhar said.

In the 2nd issue, Dhar on behalf of State Committee thanked Tripura people for supporting 2nd August Strike called by various trade unions. “In whole country total 18 crores people participated in the strike. Their strike was against price hike, deprivation to Dalits and unemployment”, Dhar added.

Criticizing the BJP Govt. he said that the govt. at Central believes in privatization of Education. They use three ‘C’ in their policy : Centralization, Commercialization & Communalization------- the 3rd that is Communalization is goes for Saffron-Policy of BJP.

Dhar also thanked voters who made CPI-M to win in the last Simna-Tamakri ADC election. Mocking at IPFT he said, “It seem IPFT had bold out in that knock out level election game, however few people say it was a semi-final for opposition parties. Whatever it was but ultimately they couldn’t reach to the Final”.

Dhar also said, “Total 3000 voters joined CPI-M in last 2 months. However the opposition parties as INPT, Congress, TMC are all now separated. Ask them to join again with Fevicol like items atleast to stand before CPI-M in election 2018”.

He also talked about irregular fund from Central Govt. About IPFT issue he said, “We do not support in CBI inquiry. However, let the administration inquiry finish first on this issue”.

Particularly mentioning about BJP leader, he said, “A BJP Leader in Tripura takes every issues to Rajnath Singh. Even if a cat dies in town, he will tell it Rajnath Singh”. About Kashmir issue, he said, “The problem of Tripura and Kashmir are fully different issues. But Kashmir is a part and parcel of India----no doubt about it. Let the Central Govt. deal with that issue strictly, without any political angel”.

At the end he declared the next Central Committee meeting will be held on Sep 17, 18, 19.
